AH&LA seeks adjustment in ACA definition for full-time employment

AH&LA has issued a statement pushing for an increase in the number of hours required to consider a worker as a full-time employee under the Affordable Care Act. AH&LA President and CEO Katherine Lugar said in the statement that the threshold needs to be raised from the current level of 30 hours per week to allow employers to provide "more generous health coverage -- without prohibitive premium costs -- to full-time employees."
