With online sales of household goods expected to increase significantly in the coming years, Amazon is setting up inside supplier warehouses to reduce logistics costs and shipping time. The e-commerce giant's new Vendor Flex program includes Procter & Gamble, which has rankled some rivals. For P&G, it's a "new world" in which "they need to figure out what they can do to influence online sales," said Bernstein Research analyst Ali Dibadj.
