Couples who prepare for retirement together may have a better chance of staying together

A significant percentage of married couples who haven't yet retired disagree over when they'll retire, where they'll live when they do, and what lifestyle they'll have, according to the 2013 Fidelity Investments Couples Retirement Study. A psychologist who specializes in retired couples recommends that they spend time in an area where they think they'll want to retire before moving there and communicate with each other about what they want to do in retirement.
