Maintain gas-powered equipment before storing it for winter

Lawn mowers, string trimmers and other gas-powered equipment needs maintenance before it is stored away for winter, writes Tom Harris. This involves draining the fuel by running equipment until the gasoline is consumed. Removing the spark plug and adding a teaspoon of oil to the cylinder can also extend the life span of lawn equipment, Harris advised.
