Many youths with headache turn to alternative therapy

Among youths with headaches, nearly 30% reported using complementary and alternative medicine, according to a study published in the journal Pediatrics. Biologically based products and mind-body remedies were the most commonly used alternative treatments among young headache sufferers, particularly those with one or more concurrent chronic health problems, researchers said.
