Ocean Spray caters to Latin American and Asian tastes, markets

Last year's record cranberry harvest of 11.2 million barrels and the mature U.S. market has Ocean Spray looking outside North America for future growth. While American products still make up 80% of the company's $2.2 billion in gross sales, Ocean Spray has tailored some products for overseas tastes, such as its Cran Black Currant in the U.K. and Cran Mango in Mexico. To spur sales, Ocean Spray hosted cooking classes in China and Russia and had its first harvest in Chile this year.
