Report evaluates uses for aging aircraft

Aircraft owners need to watch out for the point where their aircraft are so outdated they are no longer worth maintaining or refurbishing, says a report by Lithuania's AviaAM Leasing. The issue is more pressing as next-generation aircraft enter the market, leaving airlines and leasing companies wondering whether to restore, convert or scrap their existing fleets.
