Report: Few Medicare enrollees change drug plans despite savings

Only 13% of Medicare enrollees voluntarily switched prescription drug plans in the four annual enrollment periods from 2006 to 2010, although doing so can produce savings, according to a report from the Kaiser Family Foundation. Plans can annually change their list of covered drugs, cost-sharing amounts, deductibles and premiums.
