State of New York finances Statue of Liberty's reopening

Tourists started lining up at New York City's Battery Park again Sunday, looking forward to getting a close look at the Statue of Liberty. New York state agreed to pay the National Park Service $61,600 per day to operate the Statue of Liberty until the partial shutdown of the federal government ends.
