Survey: Many Americans don't intend to create financial plans

A study released by Nationwide Funds indicates that more than 25% of Americans don't have a financial plan, and 38% of people in that group don't intend to create one, in part because they don't plan to retire. The survey covered 783 adults with at least $100,000 in investable assets. Advisers should reach out to potential clients to explore their reluctance about working with financial advisers and to try to assess their financial planning goals.
