Survey: Wealthy clients unhappy with advisers' approach to giving

Forty-one percent of high-net-worth individuals say they're entirely satisfied with the discussions they've had with financial advisers about philanthropy, according to a survey by U.S. Trust and The Philanthropic Initiative. Affluent clients largely didn't like the way advisers approached charitable giving as technical matter rather than taking the time to learn their interests, values and goals, the survey found.
