Va. students receive mental-health awareness training

Some Fairfax County, Va., teenagers spent time this summer learning how to recognize signs of depression and help others who may be struggling with mental-health issues. Plans are underway to offer the program again this fall. Dane Charneco, a school psychologist, said students encounter a range of stressors, from academics to athletics to extracurricular activities to social lives, in school and online.
