VR inches closer to actual reality

Nick Bilton tried out the Oculus Rift virtual-reality headset, immersing himself in a wintry scene similar to those seen in "Game of Thrones." The realness of the scenery was enough to upset his stomach, he writes. Oculus VR CEO Brendan Iribe says, “Simulator sickness has been one of the biggest barriers holding virtual reality back.” Oculus and other VR companies are trying to take the queasy feelings out of the equation in making VR accessible to more users, Bilton writes.
