WPP expands in China with digital agency buy

WPP has purchased digital-ad agency IM2.0 to increase its offering in China as operations push further into that growing economy. The purchase was made through VML, part of the Young & Rubicam network, and is part of an estimated $640 million shopping spree for digital companies in emerging ad markets. China already represents revenues of roughly $1.4 billion for WPP.
