ARC numbers show international travel up, domestic down

According to the Airlines Reporting Corp.'s data, fewer domestic air transactions were made this time last year, while international air transactions were up 3.3% during the same period. Industry insiders say corporate consolidation is pushing domestic travel down, but ARC attributed the shift to airlines moving capacity from domestic to international flights.
