August passenger traffic up 13% at Orlando airport

August passenger traffic at Florida's Orlando International Airport was 13% higher than levels recorded in August 2006. Domestic and international traffic increased at about the same rate. Airport officials say the increase was fueled in part by a 7.7% jump in the number of seats scheduled by the airlines.
