Cruciferous veggies lower risk of cancer, study says

Studies indicate that frequent consumption of cruciferous veggies, such as broccoli and cabbage, as well as foods rich in fiber, vitamin D and calcium, may lower the risk of cancer. Meanwhile, SELF magazine suggests that consumers cut intake of red and processed meat, alcohol and fats in order to avoid cancer.
