Aussie agency proposes end to in-flight cell ban

Australia's communications regulator has recommended that the use of mobile phones be allowed on domestic and international flights on the country's airlines. Saying trials have shown no interference with flight operations, the Australian Communications and Media Authority is seeking comments to allow in-flight mobile-phone systems that use pico cell technology.
