Eee Box PCs in Japan recalled in virus snafu

ASUSTek Computer of Taiwan has begun a recall of all Eee Box personal computer sold in Japan because they contain a virus on the machines' D drives that, when opened, can spread to the C drives, thereby making them more vulnerable to online-based malware. The company said that 4,500 Eee Box PCs were shipped, about 300 of which were sold in Japan.
