Growth Outlook for U.S. Online Ad Spending Still Strong

10/15/2008

According to eMarketer, by 2012, an anticipated boom in online video advertising combined with continued strength in more-established Internet ad categories, such as paid search, will mean spending growth greater than 20% for the first time since 2007. EMarketer's U.S. online ad spending growth for 2008 remains at 17.4%. Even though its growth might ebb in 2009 relative to the past four years, Internet advertising will still deliver significant gains.
