GSK to acquire Bristol's mature-products unit in Egypt

GlaxoSmithKline agreed to pay $210 million to purchase Bristol-Myers Squibb's mature-products business in Egypt. The deal, which covers 20 of Bristol's off-patent branded medicines and a production facility in Giza, is in line with GSK's strategy to bolster its presence in emerging markets.
