Ohio board selects new state superintendent

Deborah S. Delisle, 55, who leads a Cleveland-area district, will become Ohio's state superintendent beginning Dec. 1, the Ohio Board of Education decided unanimously Tuesday. "She just oozes energy and enthusiasm and passion for education," said state board President Jennifer L. Sheets. "She has shown her leadership ability in a difficult district by pulling together all the stakeholders."
