Anadarko reports disappointing results from West Africa well

Anadarko Petroleum announced it has drilled an unsuccessful oil well off the coast of Cote d'Ivoire. The South Grand Lahou exploration well in block CI-105 achieved its depth goal, but no oil was detected, the company said. Anadarko and its partners did report drilling success in the Mahogany-4 well off of Ghana's coast, which extends the approximate size of their Jubilee field.
