Dollar's slide has benefits, drawbacks for airlines

Airlines could see a boost in overseas bookings as the sliding U.S. dollar makes travel cheaper for foreign travelers. But a continued decline in the greenback could have a downside for airlines: Because oil is denominated in U.S. dollars, it could become relatively more expensive for U.S. carriers, while foreign competitors pay less in their own currency.
