ILFC set to pay back $2 billion in debt

Troubled jet lessor International Lease Finance Corp., a unit of American International Group, will repay $2 billion in debt as it comes due today. Part of the funding will be provided by ILFC's parent company, though no details were made public. ILFC Chairman and CEO Steven Udvar-Hazy said the company will cut its debt of more than $30 billion this year.
