Minneapolis arts organization helps students with special needs

The nonprofit organization Upstream Arts is teaching students with special needs in Minneapolis to communicate through music and art. Actors and actresses who are members of Upstream Arts make weekly visits to eight area public schools, where children with and without special needs take part in group sound-and-movement exercises as well as nonverbal activities such as painting to music.
