Ohio EPA tests proposed casino site in Toledo

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency is testing a brownish-red substance leaking into a local river from a proposed casino site in Toledo, Ohio. "There is a leachate outbreak coming from the side of the property into the Maumee River," said EPA spokeswoman Dina Pierce. Penn National has proposed building the casino on the former industrial site if Ohio voters approve a ballot initiative legalizing casinos.
