Production volumes rose in the third quarter, Range Resources reports

Range Resources said its production volumes for the third quarter increased 13% from the same period in 2008, spurred by positive drilling outcomes in the Barnett and Marcellus shales. Output volumes averaged 437 million cubic feet per day, the company said. Range also invested $145 million to finance the drilling of 128 wells.
