Sea-Tac sees spike in baggage theft

TSA and port police have stepped up patrols at baggage carousels in Seattle-Tacoma International Airport after a reported spike in thefts. Some of the pilfered luggage has been found at nearby bus stops and hotels, and investigators are unsure if the bags are being stolen off the carousels or before they ever reach the bag-claim area.
