Cable groups back FCC decision on set-tops

Cable-industry associations quickly threw their support behind Thursday's Federal Communications Commission ruling that relaxes the commission's previous guidelines on set-top boxes. American Cable Association President Matt Polka called the decision "laudable" and said it "puts the country on the right path." NCTA President and CEO Kyle McSlarrow pledged that "our industry will work diligently to implement these changes."
