California HSR Authority chief promises "accountability"

The chief executive of the California High-Speed Rail Authority, Roelef van Ark, said the agency will make information available to the public as the state works to create a bullet-train system. He said in a statement that "the Authority is committed to transparency and accountability" and will provide regular project updates.
