Georgia veterinarians caution dog owners about snakebite dangers

As the weather turns colder, snakes are trying to absorb heat and dogs are at an increased risk for bites. As such, veterinarians in the Atlanta area are advising area owners to be on alert and seek immediate veterinary help if they see their pets exhibiting signs of snakebites such as swelling and difficulty in breathing.
