Asian shares rise amid relief over talks in U.S. debt crisis

Word of progress in congressional talks to avoid a U.S. default lifted shares across Asia on Tuesday. "It looks like the door is now open for compromise. The deadline is nearing, and we'll get through that. The volatility caused by this debt-ceiling debate will be with us until next year," said Nader Naeimi, head of dynamic asset allocation at AMP Capital Investors in Sydney.
