CEA, NATPE to study second-screen use

The Consumer Electronics Association and NATPE have commissioned E-Poll Market Research to conduct a two-part study on how consumers are using mobile devices while they watch video and how that affects content creators. Results will be revealed at the 2014 International CES and the NATPE Miami conference. "Once again, consumer electronics technologies are disrupting the traditional ways consumers view and engage with their favorite television programs," CEA President and CEO Gary Shapiro said in a statement.
