Group of Conn. students to visit Poland for peace summit

Five Hartford Public High School students in Connecticut soon will attend the World Summit of Nobel Peace laureates in Warsaw, Poland. The students, who are learning about peace and human rights issues, are raising money to fund the trip that is to include a visit to the Auschwitz death camp. It is hoped that each student will "be inspired to do good things in their life," said David Ives, executive director of Quinnipiac's Albert Schweitzer Institute and leader of a contingent of faculty and students traveling to Poland.
