Lower diabetes risk seen with lifestyle interventions

An analysis in the Annals of Internal Medicine revealed undergoing comprehensive lifestyle interventions may help stem the odds of type 2 diabetes in high-risk patients. However, lifestyle initiatives did not appear to cut the risk of all-cause mortality in those who had diabetes, researchers noted.
