N.D. achieves oil, gas production records in August

North Dakota posted oil and natural gas production records for August, according to the state's Department of Mineral Resources. The state produced an average of 911,242 barrels of oil a day and 1 million cubic feet of gas a day for August -- up from 875,736 barrels of oil a day and 972,058 cubic feet of gas a day in July, records show.
