Noninvasive cryotherapy reduces forehead wrinkles in study

Focused cold therapy may be a noninvasive alternative to neurotoxin injections for reducing hyperdynamic forehead wrinkles, according to a study presented at the ASDS Annual Meeting. Cold applied to the temporal facial nerve with a novel cryotherapy device temporarily injures the nerve, reducing muscle contraction, dermatologic surgeon Doris Day said.
