Report: Lawn mowers top the list of stolen heavy equipment last year

From the 10,925 pieces of stolen heavy equipment last year, lawn mowers emerged as the most popular item to nab, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau and the National Equipment Register. While heavy equipment theft declined by 7% since last year, the report found only 20% of stolen equipment is recovered.
