Google, News Corp. discuss YouTube, MySpace revenue sharing

In the wake of the Google's $1.65 billion acquisition of YouTube, the search giant's CEO, Eric Schmidt, and News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch have started talks in an effort to clarify their $900 million, three-year deal -- struck a few months ago -- for Google to be the search engine for News Corp.'s MySpace. At issue is whether News Corp. will share in revenue Google is expected to generate by embedding ads in YouTube videos that get circulated via MySpace.
