Cheap dollar is rescuing U.S. export sector, experts say

A four-month string of rising U.S. exports can be credited to the falling dollar, economists said. "If you are an exporting business and do not rely overwhelmingly on imported materials, then a depreciating dollar helps competitiveness," said Nigel Gault, chief U.S. economist at IHS Global Insight.
