Gap launches international expansion push

In an effort to counteract shrinking domestic sales, U.S.-based Gap is planning to sell its casual clothing online to U.K. consumers. The retailer, one of the largest fashion chains in the world, also is planning to enter China. "With our improved economic model, we're ready to step up our investments and strategies to regain market share and expand our international platform," CEO Glenn Murphy said.
