Report: Construction to post modest gains in 2010

An increase in the construction of highways, bridges, apartment buildings and single-family homes will help the construction industry post modest growth in 2010, experts say. The McGraw-Hill construction forecast predicts that construction starts will increase 11% in 2010. The report also noted that high unemployment and tight credit markets will continue to curb new development.
