Image-based ads could be a boon for brands, says Luminate

Vast numbers of images are being posted online -- and each one is potentially an advertising platform, says Luminate publisher-development chief Chas Edwards. Luminate's technology lets brands target ads to specific photos, such as by allowing skin-cream brands to advertise to consumers viewing photos of celebrities with flawless skin.
