BBC Latin America opts for device-aware website solution for mobile

BBC Entertainment Latin America is using a new service that goes beyond responsive design to make its website sensitive not just to screen size but also to the device being used to access the site. The Software Enabling One Web platform from Trilibis allowed the BBC to create one microsite for mobile rather than several. "Like all companies and especially for the BBC, we need to make sure we reach the audience on all platforms," said David Hanono of BBC Worldwide Latin America and U.S. Hispanic. "... [The mobile site] makes the look and feel similar to an online experience which keeps the experience even."
