European firms should use cloud computing despite NSA monitoring, EU says

The National Security Agency's monitoring of the Internet should not discourage European enterprises from taking advantage of cloud computing, the European Commission says. "Trust in cloud computing is suffering, which risks depressing the rate of cloud uptake and Europe lagging behind in cloud computing adoption," the commission said in a briefing document.
