Fannie Mae reportedly drops spreads for new security

Fannie Mae reportedly has decreased the spreads on its new risk-sharing debt securities amid higher-than-anticipated demand, according to investors participating in the issue. "This is probably as strong of a credit profile as one is going to get," Jason Callan of Columbia Management Investment Advisers said of the deal. "Everything about it from a fundamental perspective is really attractive."
