How Ford learned to overcome problems faster

Ford recently implemented an accountability system to help teams overcome problems faster by discussing them with co-workers from around the world. Weekly accountability meetings help keep employees focused and allow the company to draw on collective strengths to meet its goals, says CEO Alan Mulally. "We work together as a team worldwide to turn the reds to yellows to green. ... We all can't wait to get back there the next week to see the progress," he says.
