Immigration to see action after budget deal is settled, says Obama

Immigration reform will receive attention from the White House the "day after" the budget deal has been settled, said President Barack Obama. The Senate bill on immigration reform has been stalled in the House of Representatives due to problems in Syria and concerns over raising the national debt limit. Obama has said he would be open to a piecemeal immigration approach from the House.
