Kan. city council gets continuance request in broadband project

Google might plot a different course after the Overland Park, Kan., City Council postponed action on letting Google Fiber introduce a gigabit network. Local lawyers working with Google say the company has put the project on the back burner and has asked the council for a continuance. The council cites liability concerns in holding up the project.
